Highland Park Cask Strength Release No.4 is an Orkney single malt, bottled at 64.3% straight from the cask. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
Maturation was mainly in first-fill European oak casks that previously held sherry. American oak casks, ex-bourbon barrels and refill casks were added to the vatting.
The nose offers sweet dried fruits, dark chocolate and peat smoke. On the palate come orange zest, toffee, nutmeg and cinnamon, and the finish carries a touch of heather honey into a long, warming close.
