Highland Park Harald is a single malt from the distillery in Kirkwall, Orkney, in a 70cl bottle. It was released in 2013 as part of The Warrior Series, a range of single malts made for travel retail that introduces key figures from Orkney's Viking history and shows how much the type of cask shapes flavour.
Harald was matured in a combination of sherry-seasoned American oak and European oak casks.
It is described as complex but finely balanced, with an intense flavour of ginger, sandalwood, sweet sponge cake and freshly grated nutmeg.
