Highland Park – Single Cask for Austria Batch 3 (63.6%)

This is a single cask Highland Park bottled for Austria, the third batch in the series. It was matured in a refill hogshead and bottled at 63.6% vol, with an outturn of 309 bottles. The nose combines soft, mild smoke with vanilla, fruity notes and the heather character associated with the distillery. On the palate it is full and powerful, with vanilla, caramel, heather honey and tropical fruit, then a fine peat smoke with gentle oak, dried fruit and pineapple. The finish is long, with oak and vanilla over a persistent, delicate peat smoke.
