Thorfinn is a single malt from Highland Park, bottled at 45.1% in a 70cl bottle. It was released in 2013 as part of The Warrior Series, created for Duty-Free to introduce a key figure from Orkney's Viking history and to show how strongly cask type shapes flavour.
It was made with a high proportion of first-fill sherry-seasoned European and American oak casks. The flavours are fiery ginger joined with sun-dried fruits and plenty of spice, all carried by the distillery's smokiness.
