Highland Park – Triskelion Special Edition Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 45.1%)

This is a special edition single malt from Highland Park, bottled at 45.1% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Its three Master Whisky Makers selected and combined the casks themselves, which gives the Triskelion its name. The vatting draws on first-fill sherry-seasoned Spanish oak butts, first-fill sherry-seasoned American oak casks, and ex-bourbon barrels and hogsheads, with a small number of refill casks added for softness. It is full-bodied and complex, with tangy Seville oranges, sultanas and raisins, sweet apricots, heather honey, coriander seeds and aromatic peat smoke.
