Valfather is a single malt from Highland Park, bottled at 47% in a 70cl bottle. It is the third and final release in the Viking Legend series of special editions, and takes its inspiration from Odin, the mightiest of the Norse gods.
It is the most heavily peated whisky Highland Park had released to that point, and it was matured entirely in refill casks.
The nose is described as sweet apple and fragrant pear, with crème brûlée, toasted cedar wood, smoked paprika and aromatic peat smoke.
