Hinotori 5 Year is a blended Japanese whisky with a five-year age statement. The name Hinotori means phoenix in Japanese.
Hekinan Distillery was established in 1949 and quickly became a leading producer of Japanese whisky throughout the 1950s. The distillery closed in 1959, following two natural disasters, and production only restarted in 2014, some fifty-five years later.
