Ichiro's Malt Double Distilleries is a Japanese blended malt that brings together spirit from Chichibu and the now-closed Hanyu distillery. It is bottled at 46.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is described as rich, fruity and spicy, often with Mizunara and sherry cask influence. The nose offers green apples, pears, honey, vanilla, toasted almonds and a floral, incense-like note. The palate has juicy orchard fruit, vanilla and caramel sweetness, and a spicy kick of cinnamon, nutmeg and pepper. The finish is long, with sweet spices, drying oak and sometimes a hint of mint or leather.
