Ichiro's Malt & Grain World Whisky (70cl, 46.5%)

Ichiro's Malt & Grain World Whisky is a blend of young whiskies from five major producing regions: Scotland, Ireland, Canada, the USA and Japan. It was created by Ichiro Akuto, founder of the Chichibu Distillery in Saitama Prefecture, and is known as the white label expression. It is bottled at 46.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle, non-chill filtered and with no added colouring. The colour is pale gold. The nose is fresh and floral, with apricot, Meyer lemon zest, vanilla cream and a hint of toffee. On the palate there are roasted chestnut, gingerbread and malted barley with a light citrus sweetness. The finish is clean and lasting, with gentle pepper and honeyed fruit.
