Ikikko Koji Whisky Sherry Cask Finish is an 8 year old Japanese whisky, distilled and matured on Iki Island, off the north-west coast of Kyushu. It is made from koji, rice and barley, and finished in sherry casks. It is bottled at 42% in a 750ml bottle.
Iki Island has a distilling history of almost 500 years and is recognised as the birthplace of barley shochu in Japan. The use of koji, the mould central to shochu making, links this whisky to that tradition.
