Jack Daniel's Old No. 7 is a Tennessee whiskey made in Lynchburg, Tennessee, and bottled at 40% (80 proof).
It is made by the Lincoln County Process, in which the whiskey drips slowly through 10 feet of sugar-maple charcoal.
The nose is light caramel, toasted oak and vanilla with a hint of spice. The palate is smooth and softly sweet, with caramel, warm vanilla and gentle oak. The finish is clean and balanced, slightly smoky, with vanilla sweetness lingering.
