Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Select (47%)

Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Select is a Tennessee whiskey bottled at 47%, or 94 proof. Each bottle comes from a single hand-selected barrel, so the character varies from one barrel to the next. The barrels are aged in the upper tiers of the barrelhouse, where swings in temperature enrich the spirit. The nose is bold, with caramel, vanilla, toasted oak and warm baking spice. The palate is full-bodied, with dark caramel, sweet maple, charred oak and subtle dried fruit. The finish is long and smooth, slightly smoky, with lingering spice and sweetness.
