Jameson Black Barrel is an Irish whiskey in a 70cl bottle, triple distilled and matured in barrels that have been charred twice.
The extra charring is applied by the distillery's coopers to their bourbon barrels, a step meant to draw out more richness and complexity from the wood and intensify the taste of the whiskey.
