Jameson Black Barrel is a blended Irish whiskey, bottled at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It blends small batch grain whiskey with traditional Irish pot still whiskey, with a high proportion of pot still.
The whiskey is matured in American oak, sherry casks and double charred bourbon barrels.
The nose is rich and fruity, with tropical fruit, coconut, nectarines in yoghurt, guava and sweet cereals. The palate is thick and creamy, with dates, walnuts, peach, coconut and a little cinnamon. The finish is long and fruity, with cinnamon, nutmeg and a hint of potpourri.
