Jameson Special Reserve is a 12 year old blended Irish whiskey from Cork, bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It is triple distilled and matured in Oloroso sherry casks, which gives a pot still character alongside the softness associated with Jameson.
The nose is warm and complex, with spice and a hint of dried fruit. The palate brings sherry, nuts, gentle wood and a touch of cocoa, leading to a long, very soft finish.
