Jim Beam Devil's Cut is a Kentucky straight bourbon bottled at 45% ABV (90 proof), in a 750ml bottle.
Its character comes from the liquid that stays trapped in the wood of the barrel rather than evaporating as the angel's share. That liquid is extracted from the barrels and blended with extra-aged Kentucky straight bourbon. The aim is a bourbon with deep colour, aroma and character, and it is intended to be drunk neat or over ice.
