Kaiyō Japanese Mizunara Oak The Peated is a Japanese whisky made from imported Scottish peated malt.
It spends two years in madeira casks and then six years in mizunara casks, and the Japanese oak influence is described as ample.
The whisky is light, clean and fruity, with apple, white grape, lingering cigar smoke and coconut macaroons.
