Wiseman is a straight rye whiskey from Kentucky Owl, made to a traditional style with a mash bill of 95% rye.
The nose is spicy, and that spice carries through to the palate, which fills the mouth. The long finish begins with fresh rye bread, moves slowly towards buttered cinnamon toast and ends with a hint of English walnut.
