Kujira Ryukyu is a Japanese whisky made from 100% Indica rice rather than malted barley. It is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
It was matured for more than five years in first-fill white oak casks, in the subtropical climate at the southern end of Okinawa.
The aroma is rich and woody, with dark fruit flavours. The body is smooth and mellow, and it finishes on sweet notes.
