The Càirdeas for 2014 was a Laphroaig that had been double-matured in first fill ex-bourbon casks and Amontillado sherry hogsheads.
A world-renowned Islay distillery, famous for its distinctive character of its heavily peated spirit and it has one of the longest-serving single malt brands. It was built in 1815 by Alexander and Donald Johnston and is today owned by Suntory Holdings through its Beam Suntory division.
