Leiper's Fork Rye Whiskey is a 5 year old Bottled in Bond rye from a small independent distillery in Franklin, Tennessee, made grain to glass. The mash bill is 55% rye, 30% corn and 15% toasted barley.
On the nose it shows vanilla bean, molasses, warm spice and toasted oak. The palate brings cinnamon, nutty caramel apple, dark chocolate and sweet rye spice in a rich, full-bodied texture. The finish is lingering, with oak, cocoa, caramelised sugar and a gentle peppery warmth.
