Loch Lomond 12 Year Old Madeira Cask is a limited edition unpeated Scotch single malt in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in 2011 and matured for twelve years in a Madeira hogshead.
It was bottled in 2024 at cask strength, 55.3%, and only 205 bottles were filled.
The nose offers candied orange peel, golden syrup, baked red apples and warming cinnamon, with ripe cherries and sweet cloves. The palate is fruity, with apples, pears, candyfloss and cocktail cherries, plus grassy hints and a touch of almond. The finish is long, with gentle oak spice and warmth.
