Loch Lomond – 18 Year Old (70cl, 46%)

Loch Lomond 18 Year Old is a Highlands single malt bottled at 46% vol in a 70cl bottle, without chill-filtration or colouring. The distillery lies south of the loch of the same name, and its range has grown notably stronger since its takeover in 2014. The nose is typically described as green apple, grapefruit and sweet, soft oak. The palate is full-bodied and balanced, with fresh oak, stone fruit and a little smoke. The finish is long, with tea and tobacco leaves and smoky oak.
