This is a 20 year old Highland single malt from Longmorn, distilled in 1964 and bottled in 1985 by Gordon & MacPhail. It is bottled at a natural cask strength of 56.8% in a 75cl bottle. The nose combines sandalwood, incense, orange blossom water and cedar cigar box with mint, eucalyptus and a hint of burning charcoal. Water brings out the wood, fermenting oranges and smoked ham. The palate is big, with orange liqueur, kirsch, plums and apricots, turning jammy yet fresh with water. The finish is long, like wood-matured orange liqueur with Turkish delight and a salty touch.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
