This is a 2003 Longmorn single malt from Gordon & MacPhail's Distillery Labels range, bottled in 2018 at 43% ABV. It was drawn from a mix of first-fill sherry hogsheads and refill bourbon barrels, and wears a retro-style label.
On the nose there is lemon and thyme, with a touch of caramel sweetness. Sherried notes build on the palate, with fruitcake, milk chocolate and a little cinnamon. The finish brings black liquorice, more chocolate and soft vanilla pod.
