Longmorn – 2003 Provenance 11 Years Old

This is an 11 year old Speyside single malt from Longmorn, distilled in 2003. The distillery dates from 1894/95 and used direct firing until 1994. The nose combines citrus, herbal notes, nuts and sweet malt. The palate is strongly sweet, close to fudge, with vanilla and cream caramel, then peppery sweetness and marmalade. The long finish has firm malt and a sweetness like whipped cream and sorbet.
