Longrow Peated

Longrow Peated is a single malt from Campbeltown, made under the Longrow label by the Springbank Distillery, which has been family-owned since 1828. It was matured in ex-bourbon barrels, is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring. Longrow was introduced in the 1970s as a heavily peated alternative to Springbank's lighter style, and it is made entirely in-house, from malting to bottling. The nose combines peat smoke with coastal brine, warm cereal and citrus peel. The palate is smoky, with lemon zest, green apple and black pepper, and the long, savoury finish carries earthy peat, salted caramel and gentle spice.
