A 12 year old Speyside single malt from Macallan, released in 2022 in a 70cl bottle as part of the Colour Collection. It was matured in American oak casks with a subtle addition of European oak, all seasoned with sherry from Jerez de la Frontera in Spain.
The whisky has a natural golden oak colour. Artist and graphic designer David Carson collaborated on the collection, using albariza soil as a medium for his artwork.
The nose is sweet oak, lemon peel, vanilla biscuits and pear. The palate brings syrup sponge and citrus curd.
