Macallan Classic Cut 2021 Release is a Speyside single malt in a 70cl bottle. The Whisky Mastery Team created it to show the role of ex-bourbon American oak casks in the Macallan range.
It combines the sweet lightness of those casks with the depth of sherry seasoned American oak casks.
The nose brings orange zest and oil, fresh vanilla and ginger, with fruit jellies and marzipan. On the palate there are fresh oak, gingerbread, vanilla custard and cinnamon, and the finish is medium sweet with spiced fruit.
