Macallan Fifties is part of the Decades Travel Series, a limited edition made as a nod to the style of the 1950s. It is a Speyside single malt in a 50cl bottle at 40% ABV.
The profile is rich and spicy, with a hint of peat smoke.
The nose offers pear, peach and dried apricot with fresh lemon zest, cinnamon, nutmeg and gentle oak. The palate is dark chocolate and toasted almonds with a touch of tangy marmalade and gentle vanilla, in a velvety texture. The finish is medium in length, with spiced honey and warm caramelised nuts.
