This is a 55 year old Speyside single malt from Macallan, part of the Speymalt line from Gordon & MacPhail. It was distilled on 9 November 1950, matured in a single refill sherry butt and bottled on 3 February 2006 at 43% ABV.
The whisky is non-chill-filtered and natural in colour. It is described as showing orchard fruit, old oak and a subtle rancio spice.
