Nikka Days Blended Japanese Whisky (70cl, 40%)

Nikka Days is a blended Japanese whisky in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 40% ABV. It is made from more than 100 batches of malt and grain whisky, including lightly peated malt from Yoichi, fruity and floral malt from Miyagikyo and grain whisky from Nikka's Coffey stills. Nikka's blending team designed it as an approachable everyday whisky, to be drunk neat or in cocktails. Tasting notes describe a fresh, fruity nose of white flowers, orange blossom, pear and citrus zest. The palate is silky and light, with toasted cereal, vanilla toffee and roasted nuts, and a very faint trace of peat smoke. The finish is clean and medium in length, with lemon peel and light malt.
