Nikka From The Barrel Blended Japanese Whisky (50cl, 51.4%)

Nikka From The Barrel is a Japanese blended whisky made from a mix of malt and grain whiskies, bottled at 51.4% in a 50cl bottle. It was created to bring out the full flavour and richness of whisky straight from the cask, the kind a blender would nose and taste. Because the blend holds so many characterful components at this strength, it is rested in used casks for three to six months so that it settles and the parts come together. The short, square bottle is meant to suggest a small lump of whisky, reflecting the rich, strong taste inside.
