Nikka From The Barrel Blended Whisky (50cl, 51.4%)

Nikka From The Barrel is a Japanese blended whisky in a 500ml bottle, made from malt and grain whiskies. The malt comes from both the Yoichi and Miyagikyo distilleries. It is double matured. The components are aged separately, then blended and returned to cask so the blend can marry and age further. It is bottled at cask strength, 51.4% abv, which is the idea behind the name. It is described as well balanced and harmonious, yet powerful, intense and aromatic.
