Nikka From The Barrel (50cl, 51.4%)

Nikka From The Barrel is a blended Japanese whisky made from a mix of malt and grain whiskies, bottled at 51.4% in a 50cl bottle. It was created to bring out the full flavour and richness of whisky taken straight from the cask, the kind that only blenders usually get to nose and taste. Because the blend holds so many characterful components at a higher strength, it is left to marry in used casks for three to six months so that it settles and comes together. The short, square bottle is meant to suggest a small lump of whisky.
