Nikka From the Barrel (50cl, 51.4%)

A Japanese blended whisky from Nikka, bottled at 51.4% in a 50cl bottle. It is a blend with a good deal of flavour for its price, and it has helped raise the standing of Japanese whisky among enthusiasts over the past decade. The nose is floral, with fresh orange, spice, oak and light smoke. The palate is full, with plenty of spice, toffee, caramel, vanilla and sweet fruit. The finish is long and warm, fruity, with vanilla and spice.
