Nikka Gold & Gold Samurai (75cl, 43%)

Nikka Gold & Gold Samurai is a Japanese blended malt whisky, bottled at 43% in a 75cl bottle. The bottle is shaped as a samurai, and the warrior's helmet and armour lift off to reach the stopper. It was originally intended for duty free sale at Japanese airports. The whisky itself is soft, mild and sweet. The nose is very aromatic, with vanilla, citrus and sweet honey. The palate is fruity and sweet, with juicy pineapple, pear and roasted nuts. The finish is long and pleasantly sweet.
