Nikka Session Blended Malt Whisky (70cl, 43%)

Nikka Session is a blended malt whisky bottled at 43% in a 700ml bottle. It was the first new brand from Nikka in six years. The blend combines malts from Yoichi, Miyagikyo and Ben Nevis. Nikka bought Scotland's Ben Nevis Distillery in 1989. The nose is apple, pineapple, pear and blackcurrant with leafy mint. The palate turns to dried fruit, peppercorn and woody malt, and the finish brings dark chocolate malt, some bitterness and a slight peatiness.
