Nikka Taketsuru 21 Year Pure Malt (70cl)

Nikka Taketsuru 21 Year Pure Malt is a Japanese blend made only from malt whiskies, the youngest aged for at least 21 years. It is named after Masataka Taketsuru, the founding father of Japanese whisky, and comes in a 700ml bottle. The whisky was matured in a combination of sherry and American oak casks. The nose shows dried fruit, dark chocolate, malt sweetness and gentle oak. The palate brings rich caramel, honey, spice, roasted nuts and a little smoke, and the finish is long and silky, with lingering sweetness, oak and soft spice.
