Nikka Taketsuru Pure Malt (70cl)

Nikka Taketsuru Pure Malt is a Japanese blended malt in a 70cl bottle, named in honour of Masataka Taketsuru, regarded as the father of Japanese whisky. He learned whisky-making in Scotland and went on to produce whisky in Japan. Taketsuru believed the natural surroundings of a distillery were essential to quality, so he chose two places, Yoichi and Miyagikyo, and built a distillery at each. The whisky is described as gentle and fruity, with a well-balanced taste, and as an entry point to the world of Nikka.
