Nikka Whisky From The Barrel (50cl, 51.4%)

Nikka From The Barrel is a Japanese blended whisky first created in 1985, bottled at 51.4% in a 50cl square decanter. The idea behind it was to bring out the full range of flavour found in whisky straight from the cask, and it relies on careful blending and a marrying process. The nose is fruity and aromatic. On the palate come coconut, buttered toast, orchard fruits and spring blossoms, and the finish ends with a little smokiness and a hint of sea breeze.
