This is a 15 year old single cask Dailuaine from Old Particular, bottled at 48.4% in a 70cl bottle. It comes from one sherry butt, in which the whisky matured for the full 15 years.
It is bottled without chill-filtration or added colouring. Dailuaine is a Speyside distillery, established in 1852.
The nose has dark dried fruits, toffee, treacle and baking spices. On the palate come fig, raisin, cocoa and spiced oak, with a touch of orange peel. The finish is long and warming, with dark chocolate and nutmeg.
