Orphan Barrel Copper Tongue is a 16 year old straight bourbon whiskey, distilled and bottled in Tullahoma, Tennessee, and sold in a 750ml bottle. It was drawn from long forgotten barrels.
It is bottled at cask strength and unfiltered, so the whiskey reaches the glass at full proof.
The nose offers dark caramel, seasoned oak, toasted vanilla and leather. On the palate come rich toffee, baking spice, charred oak and dark sugar, leading to a long, warming, dry finish with oak and spice.
