Pendleton Canadian (175cl, 40%)

Pendleton Canadian is a blended Canadian whisky bottled at 40% ABV in a 1.75 litre bottle. The blend draws on stocks from several vintage years, each aged in American oak barrels. Before bottling it is cut to strength with glacier-fed spring water from Mt. Hood in Oregon, a step that sets it apart from other Canadian blends. The nose is vanilla, honey and butterscotch, with a soft custard sweetness and a trace of cinnamon. The palate begins with caramel, then layered vanilla, warm fall fruits, honey and a hint of baking spice, with a very light, smooth texture. The finish is moderate and clean, with honey, soft vanilla and a little cinnamon warmth.
