Pendleton Military Edition is a blended Canadian whisky bottled at 40% ABV in a 75cl bottle, in commemorative packaging that honours active-duty service members and veterans. The liquid is the same as the standard Pendleton blend.
It is distilled in Canada from rye, corn and barley and aged for at least three years in charred American oak. Hood River Distillers in Oregon imports and bottles it, reducing it to strength with spring water from Mount Hood.
The nose shows vanilla, honey, butterscotch and custard with a thread of cinnamon. The palate is soft, with honey, baked apple and pear and a little rye spice. The finish is medium, with butterscotch and a hint of cinnamon.
Tasting Notes
