Pendleton Original Blended Canadian Whisky (75cl, 40%)

Pendleton Original is a blended Canadian whisky created in 2003 by Hood River Distillers of Oregon. It is named after the Pendleton Round-Up rodeo, held in Pendleton, Oregon, since 1910, and the bucking horse on the bottle nods to the world of bronc riding. The whisky is distilled and aged in Canada, then taken to Hood River, Oregon, where it is blended with glacier-fed spring water from Mt. Hood before bottling. It is bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof) in a 750ml bottle. The nose is described as vanilla, honey and caramel with a hint of cinnamon and mint. The palate is lightly sweet, with vanilla, honey, pecan and gentle baking spice, and the finish is clean and easy.
