Port Charlotte 10-Year-Old (70cl, 50%)

Port Charlotte 10-Year-Old is a peated Islay single malt from Bruichladdich Distillery, bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle. It is made from 100% Scottish barley in the distillery's Victorian stills and matured in a wide mix of different casks. The whisky is earthy and smoky, and is described as becoming more complex the longer you spend with it. Beneath the smoke the notes run to honey-glazed smoky bacon, vanilla fudge, a little lemon and tangerine, ginger, nutmeg and clove. Wild thyme, heather and sea pink add a floral coastal edge.
