Powers Three Swallows is an Irish single pot still whisky, made in the pot still style with a barley-led character. Specially selected casks contribute a nutty note of marzipan. The palate opens with mouth-coating barley, then green apple and citrus, with herbs, spice and a touch of cedar wood. The nose combines pot still spice and crisp barley with green banana and grapefruit. The finish is a crisp cereal one with toasted oak notes and a hint of sherry.
