Ransom Spirits Bourbon

Ransom Spirits Bourbon is made from a four-grain mash bill of 66% corn, 23% rye, 6% wheat and 4% malted barley, all grown on the producer's organic farm. It is aged for a minimum of two years in charred American oak, and the barrels include some 12 years old from its French Alembic pot stills. The nose is classic bourbon, with toffee, soft caramel and sweet corn. On the palate, a soft oak influence and cereal grain are joined by cocoa powder, anise and a deep honey texture. The finish is long, with spicy rye warmth, orange zest and a last touch of malt.
