Shibui 23 Year Old Rare Cask Reserve is a Japanese single grain whisky, matured for 23 years in hand-selected casks and sold in a 750ml bottle.
Its character is built around tropical fruit, caramelised sugar and polished oak. The nose offers toasted oak, honey and dried apricots with a touch of vanilla cream. On the palate it is full-bodied, with ripe mango, butterscotch and sweet spice balanced by gentle wood tannins. The finish is long, with caramel, toasted nuts and oak spice.
